During the Council schism two messengers find the Strider at the same moment, one for Elder Joram Steele and one for Elder Lysara Kind, each with a meeting set for the same hour. This is the first of them: young, freckled, and very aware that he is carrying something that matters.
Appearance
About eighteen, freckled, messy sandy hair, a plain blue courier’s tunic and a satchel, clutching a sealed letter.
